A new year is coming

Author Ange Sewell

I can’t quite believe how busy this past year has been.
Just a year ago I was just working away on my college projects and yarn club, weaving some scarves, as well as doing some teaching at Once A Sheep.
Now, a year later, I’ve done lots more complicated college work, have a busy Yarn Club, and have my own studio, where I’m selling my handwoven items and will be soon running classes. Information for the classes are now on the Classes page. Remember, if the dates don’t suit do get in touch as I can run classes at other dates to suit you.
I have been taking a bit of time off over the holidays and made a cowl for myself as well as some mittens from yarn I got from a secret Santa.

You can find the pattern for the mitts here.
I’m also planning on a proper spinning project where I’m going to try and make this cardigan from these batts I carded.

Of course, this will be at the same time as doing my final project for college over the next 6 months. Rather scary but not long to go now.
So, it’s been a great year and I’m so happy with where I am now with everything.
I hope everyone has had a great Christmas and have a Happy New Year.
I can’t wait to get stuck into 2014.
