How long does it take to ship out my order?

We aim to have items dispatched as soon as possible and usually it is within 2 working days. It can take us 3 to 5 working days to process your order ready for shipping during busy times (these can happen at any time of the year).

Our working and posting days are Mondays to Fridays. We currently cannot offer next day postal service. Orders are not processed on bank/public holidays.

How do I know if you've received my order or it has been shipped?

You will get an order confirmation email once you've placed your order and we can then see your order on our system.

When we ship your order we will send you a confirmation email.

If you have not received an order confirmation email or a shipping confirmation email then do please check your Junk Mail folders as our email can end up there.

What is the Shipping Cost for Orders to the UK?

For UK orders the following delivery charges apply:

  • Orders under £50 in value - £4.90
  • Orders over £50 - Free
  • Magazines - £2.25 for a single copy then rates above for larger orders
  • Free Delivery to residents in KA23 postcodes (West Kilbride).

We use 1st Class Royal Mail for smaller items and either DHL Express or Parcel Force 24 for larger items.

We cannot offer a next-day delivery service or guarantee.

Channel Islands- small packages sent using Royal Mail, larger items by courier. Weight-based shipping rates shown at checkout.

Do you ship to the EU?

We do ship to the EU!

The cost of shipping is shown at Checkout and you can get an estimate in the Cart too.

For orders under €150:
At Checkout it will show the price of your order and the shipping which will have the tax included. The tax will be shown as a seperate line under the total saying "including x € in taxes. We now collect the taxes for all EU orders below €150 so you will not have to pay import fees or duties when your order arrives in your country.

For Orders Over €150:
At checkout you will be shown the price of the order without any taxes being included. You will have to pay the import fees and taxes to our courier company DHL when your delivery reaches your country. You will receive an email detailing the costs. They will only send your order once this is paid.

We only use DHL for shipping outside the EU as we had too many issues with other postal services in the past.

Do you ship to the Rest of the World?

We do ship to the rest of the world, as long as our courier DHL can deliver to your country (please check DHL's website for countries that we can't ship to).

The price shown at Checkout will be the cost of your items excluding any fees or taxes. You will have to pay any import fees or taxes to our courier DHL when the delivery reaches your country. They will email you with details on how to pay. The delivery will only then be sent on once this is paid.

Do I have to pay Import Fees and Taxes for Orders outside the UK?

Here's how import fees and taxes work for orders outside the UK:

EU Orders

For orders under €150:

For Orders Over €150:

Rest of the World Orders

You will have to pay any import fees or taxes to our courier DHL when the delivery reaches your country. This is calculated on the full cost of your order including the Shipping Cost.

DHL will email you with details on how to pay. The delivery will only then be sent on once this is paid.

We only use DHL for shipping outside the EU as we had too many issues with other postal services in the past so please do not ask for another courier to be used.

The full cost of your order including shipping, is what is used for the export commercial invoice which the import fees and taxes are then calculated from by DHL. This cannot be changed in any way as we have to comply with international export rules.

Will my order be sent as one package?

For UK customers we may have to split your order into 2 seperate packages if your order contains a long item, such as a 30" stick shuttle. This is to make it more economical on postage and you will get 2 seperate emails with the tracking codes with Royal Mail for this.

How does the delivery for floor looms work?

For all floor loom deliveries please ensure that you have additional help available to move boxes indoors and to where you plan to build the loom. Some of the boxes will be very heavy (40kg to 70kg in some cases, depending on the loom).

UK Customers Only:

We can deliver floor looms to any address in the UK.  All floor looms ordered through Weft Blown are shipped free of charge to addresses in mainland UK.

Please note however that island locations may attract a shipping surcharge.  If you are in an island location then please contact us for a quote for floor loom shipping rates to your address.

Schacht and Ashford floor looms will by sent using DHL or Parcelforce depending on your location. You will receive a tracking number in the shipping confirmation email we send you once your loom is on its way.

Louët floor looms are delivered by DHL. Where delivery of a Louët floor loom is on a pallet by truck this is to kerbside only as drivers are not insured to carry boxes in to premises.

Customers outside the UK:

We can deliver the floor looms listed for your country on our website. Delivery will be made by DHL and the cost will be shown at checkout. The high shipping cost is due to the size and weight of the packages as they are large and heavy.

I've just placed an order but I have forgotten something. Can I add this to my order?

UK Customers Only

If your order has not been shipped the easiest way to add to your order is to place another order and use the code ADDTOORDER at Checkout. This will remove the second postage cost.

Please do not use this code for a first order. If you do you will be sent an invoice for the postage costs and your order will not be sent until this has been paid.

EU and Rest of the World Customers

If your order has not been shipped then please email sales@weftblown.com and we will get this arranged with you.
