What is the Shipping Cost for Orders to the UK?

For UK orders the following delivery charges apply:

  • Orders under £75 in value - £5.90
  • Orders over £75 - Free

We use either Royal Mail 24 or Parcel Force 24 depending on your location and size of parcel.

We cannot offer a next-day delivery service or guarantee.

How long does it take to ship out my order?

We aim to have items dispatched as soon as possible and usually it is within 2 working days. It can take us 3 to 5 working days to process your order ready for shipping during busy times (these can happen at any time of the year).

Our working and posting days are Mondays to Fridays.

We cannot offer next day postal service due to our location.

As we are on the Isle of Skye, typically packages can take a day longer to go through the postal system than on the mainland, so please be patient.

Orders are not processed on bank/public holidays.

How do I know if you've received my order or it has been shipped?

You will get an order confirmation email once you've placed your order and we can then see your order on our system.

When we ship your order we will send you a confirmation email.

If you have not received an order confirmation email or a shipping confirmation email then do please check your Junk Mail folders as our email can end up there.

How does the tracking for my order work?

The tracking works in different ways depending how it's been shipped:

Royal Mail - the tracking will only activate once a delivery attempt at your address has been made.

Parcel Force -  tracking will update once it reaches the depot at Inverness. This is usually a day after it has been collected from us so can take a day or so after you've received your shipping confirmation email.

Do you ship to the EU or the Rest of the World?

We no longer ship to the EU Or the Rest of the World.

Will my order be sent as one package?

For UK customers we may have to split your order into 2 seperate packages if there is a delay on some items in your order. You will be notified if this is the case.

How does the delivery for floor looms work?

For all floor loom deliveries please ensure that you have additional help available to move boxes indoors and to where you plan to build the loom. Some of the boxes will be very heavy (40kg to 70kg in some cases, depending on the loom).

UK Customers Only:

We can deliver floor looms to any address in the UK.  All floor looms ordered through Weft Blown are shipped free of charge to addresses in mainland UK.

Please note however that island locations may attract a shipping surcharge.  If you are in an island location then please contact us for a quote for floor loom shipping rates to your address.

Schacht and Ashford floor looms will by sent using DHL or Parcelforce depending on your location. You will receive a tracking number in the shipping confirmation email we send you once your loom is on its way.

I've just placed an order but I have forgotten something. Can I add this to my order?

If your order has not been shipped then please email sales@weftblown.com and we will get this arranged with you.
