These beautifully shaped and well balanced boat shuttles have been designed to reduce warp thread pick-up when weaving on a table loom, while still remaining ergonomic to hold and throw. Suitable for standard nylon or paper bobbins.
The new 2024 XL design is beautifully shaped and well balanced to reduce warp thread pick-up when weaving on a table loom, while still remaining ergonomic to hold and throw. The XL nylon bobbin will give you 50% more yarn capacity than the standard nylon boat shuttle bobbin.
Available in 2 sizes:
11.5" Boat Shuttle 29cm includes 1 nylon bobbin
XL Boat Shuttle 15" (38cm) in length and includes 1 bobbin (these shuttles take the new XL plastic bobbins)
Made from Silver Beech hardwood.
Lacquered finish.
Sold individually and includes one nylon boat shuttle bobbin.
Two sizes available:
- XL Shuttle 38cm (15ins) - extra length for wider weaving widths and takes XL plastic bobbins
- Shuttle 29cm (11½ins)
Also available while stocks last 15"/38cm older versions that are not the same as the XL shuttle.
