Schacht Inkle Loom

The Schacht Inkle Loom is great for weaving belts and bands.

Inkle looms are great because they require little additional equipment, are easy to use and understand, and are easily stored.

The Schacht Inkle loom is built with years of heavy use in mind and unlike other inkle looms on the market is supplied fully assembled.  It has one open side for ease of warping. A great feature of the Schacht Inkle Loom is the tension bar which has an easy grip knob for adjusting the warp tension during weaving. Warps can be up to 4.5"/14cm wide and 8.5'/2.5m long. The Inkle Loom is made of hard maple and left unfinished.

It comes with a belt shuttle and instructions.

We also recommend The Weavers' Inkle Pattern Directory by Anne Dixon if you are new to Inkle weaving or want to get more out of it.
