This pattern is inspired by the Aurora Borealis that occurred over West Kilbride in 2024. I was lucky enough to capture it twice on camera and the colours and shapes were truly inspirational.

Requirements for pattern:
Rigid Heddle Loom:
10”/25cm or wider
Reed: 7.5 or 8 dpi
Yarn: 1 x 100g DK Wool in 3 contrasting colours
(yarn used is Ashford Double Knit)
