This is the last Flip loom we have in stock from our Schacht clearance....and at an excellent price for a premium rigid heddle loom with a wide 30" heddle.

The Flip is Schacht's folding rigid heddle loom.  It is comfortable, compact, sturdy, and a pleasure to weave on. Designed for high performance, this loom folds easily for storage or transport with locking pins to hold the loom frame in place when fully open. With the built-in option to use a second heddle, this loom allows for more expansive projects such as double weave. The Weft Blown opinion is that the Flip is the best folding rigid heddle loom out there and we are confident this loom will not disappoint!

You can choose three different weaving modes: use the rear leg for hooking to a table edge, clamp it to a table for stand-up weaving, or install it on the optional convenient trestle stand.  

Fine-toothed nylon ratchets provide precise tension control. The conveniently located heddle blocks on the sides of the loom hold the rigid heddle in the up, down, or neutral position. The heddle, available in 5, 8, 10 and 12 dents per inch, is made of durable ABS plastic, with large eyes and slots. The Flip is ideal for plain weaves and pick-up patterns.

The Flip is supplied fully assembled and ready to warp up and weave on straight out of the box. Included with your Flip are clamps and a warping peg for direct-loom warping. Instructions are included for both direct and pre-measuring methods. The top cross braces which are a feature of Schacht rigid heddles looms allow long warps, up to 5-6 yards (4.5 to 5.5m), depending on yarn weight and winding paper, to be wound on the beams without impacting the size of the shed.

The loom comes with a 10 dpi reed as standard. 5, 8 10 and 12 dent reeds are also available. 

What is included?

As well as the 10 dents per inch reed, the Flip loom comes with one warping peg, two stick shuttles, two clamps, threading hook, and complete warping and weaving instructions. The instructions can also be found here.
