Flex – Your Loom, Your Way!

Lojan's new table loom combines flexibility and versatility, making it perfect for both beginner and experienced weavers.

Flex is available in two weaving widths, 30 cm (11¾") and 50 cm (19¾"), and three configurations:

• Rigid heddle loom 
• 4 shaft loom
• 8 shaft loom

Why Flex?

Flex is designed with versatility, quality, and accessibility in mind. Start with the configuration that suits you best and easily adapt it later with conversion kits:

• From rigid heddle to 4 shafts
• From 4 shafts to 8 shafts
• From shafts to rigid heddle

If you own both a rigid heddle and shaft set, you can easily switch between them in between projects.

General specifications

• Dimensions: 47 cm (18½") or 67 cm (26 3/8") wide, 62 cm (24 3/8") deep, and only 17 cm (6¾") high when folded.
• Breast- and backbeam: For stable tension and optimal shed.
• Extra legs: For angled use on a table or against the table edge.

Rigid heddle version

• Vari-dent possibilities: The loom comes with a rigid heddle reed featuring 30 dents per 10 cm (7.5 dpi). With additional segments (2 cm (¾") wide, sold in sets of 5), you can adjust the reed to a different or variable density. Segments are available in 10-10, 20-10, 40-10, 50-10, and 60-10 (2.5 to 15 spi). End caps for the reeds will be white in colour and not green.
• Double rigid heddle: Add a second rigid heddle (available separately) for even more weaving options.
• Pick-up stick: Ideal for advanced techniques (available separately).
• Comes as a natural finished DIY kit with:
  • 2 warp sticks
  • Tie-on bars and cords
  • Reed and heddle hook
  • Cardboard warp dividers
  • Rigid heddle frame with 25 reed segments of 30-10 (7.5 dpi)
  • Peg with table clamp for direct warping

Shaft version

• Color-coded cords: Made from recycled PET, the beige and green cords make it easy to distinguish the shaft levers for a smooth weaving experience.
• 160 mm Texsolv heddles: Provides ample shed height, even with 8 shafts.
• Fold and secure: The loom folds down compactly and securely, making it easy to transport to workshops or travel.
• Comes as a natural finished DIY kit with:
  • 4 or 8 shafts
  • 2 warp sticks
  • Cross bars, tie-on bars and tie-on cords
  • Reed and heddle hook
  • Cardboard warp dividers
  • 40-10 stainless steel reed
  • 400 Texsolv 160 mm heddles
