Weft Blown Relocation

Update Monday 30th January 2023

Our shop in West Kilbride is now closed to the public.

Weft Blown is now an online business only.

The reason for the change in our business model is that Ange is now solely running the business and is wanting to develop the design side of it all. She is planning on creating more patterns and books for weaving as well as online classes and content.

To be able to do this Ange you will only be able to make an appointment to visit us for a consultation on anything to do with weaving, spinning, yarn and fibre available at certain times of the day and week from Spring 2023.

More information on the booking system and how it will work will be shared on our website and social media once it's live.

Our new headquarters is at our home and you will only be able to visit with an appointment. If you come to our home without an appointment you will be turned away and asked to book an appointment.

We have other members of our family working from home so we will be working on a strict booking system only.

If you buy online from us you will not notice any difference as things will still operate the same way.

We’re hoping our new set up will be better as we will be able to spend more time with you on a one-to-one basis to help you with your weaving and spinning needs at our new home studio and showroom.

This has been a tough decision, but Ange has great plans for having time to dedicate to writing new weaving books and pattern designs and this will be the best way that she can manage it. Ange will share the building and moving process over the next few months on social media and she is looking forward to having a loom with the view at the bottom of the page next spring.

Our Sale section has expanded as there are a few product lines that we are discontinuing as well as clearing some stock for the move.

Our demo Ashford Elizabeth 2 Spinning Wheel and Ashford 16"/40cm 8 Shaft Table Loom and Stand are for sale but this will be collection only as we are unable to post it out. For more information about these items you can email us info@weftblown.com

We are very grateful to our staff, Mia and Tina, for their support with helping us grow the business over the past couple of years as we wouldn’t have been able to get this far without them.

We also want to thank our suppliers for their continual support and we’re looking forward to sharing with you their fantastic wheels and looms.

Finally, we want to thank all of you for your continual support as it really means so much to us and it’s why we love doing what we do and why we want to keep helping you with all of your weaving and spinning needs.
