Sunset Glimpse Scarf
Handwoven by Weft Blown
The final glimpse of the sun at sunset always captivates us.
On our summer holiday in 2018 whilst staying in Bude, Cornwall, we experienced an amazing sunset over the sea where there was no cloud in the sky and just the simple circle of the sun sitting on the horizon.
Ange has taken this inspiration and played with the scale of the sun against the pink sky to create this thick, soft and warm scarf.
The yarns used are in the weft a handspun New Zealand wool yarn from The Willows Crafts in Hari Hari, New Zealand. The warp yarn is a beatiful hand-dyed yarn from Triskelion Yarns and is a blend of British Blue Faced Leicester wool and Masham wool.
Handwoven in West Kilbride, Scotland.
Dimensions: 24 cm wide by 180 cm long (not including the fringe).
Care: hand wash only in cool water and iron gently whilst damp.
