Summer Skies Scarf
Handwoven by Weft Blown
The summer of 2018 has given the Ayrshire coast, a.k.a. Costa Del Clyde, some amazing blue skies.
As the cumulus clouds slowly form during the day they make a striking distinction against the deep blue summer sky.
The colours in this scarf reflect the brightness of the summer sky. The yarns used are a hand-dyed merino wool/nylon blend yarn by Rusty Ferret Yarns and a deep blue hand-dyed Blue Faced Leicester wool by Old Maiden Aunt Yarns.
Handwoven in West Kilbride, Scotland.
Dimensions: 20 cm wide by 140 cm long (not including the fringe).
Care: hand wash only in cool water and iron gently whilst damp.
