Spring Dawn Scarf
Handwoven by Weft Blown
Living near the countryside we are always aware of the change in the green colour of the grass, trees and plants around us.
This scarf is an interpretation of the change of the light at dawn on a spring day with the colours of the night sky against the fresh spring grass on the hills.
The yarn used in the weft is handspun by Ange at Weft Blown from a hand-dyed Blue Faced Leicester wool and Ramie blend fibre by Hilltop Cloud. The warp is a Blue Faced Leicester wool and silk blend from Eden Cottage Yarns.
Handwoven in West Kilbride, Scotland.
Dimensions: 23 cm wide by 200 cm long (not including the fringe).
Care: hand wash only in cool water and iron gently whilst damp.
