Learn to Weave with Pick-Up Sticks on a Rigid Heddle Loom - Intermediate Class
Have you woven on your rigid heddle loom for a little while now and you want to know how to create more pattern and texture in your cloth?
Then this day long class is for you as we will go through how to weave with different techniques to create repeatable and/or random patterns in your cloth as well as how yarns and colour can make a big difference.
In the morning we will warp up using a Schacht Cricket rigid heddle loom and will look at how different warps can create different effects.
Then after lunch you will use a variety of techniques using pick-up sticks and hand-manipulated technique to create a textured cloth sampler.
This class is suitable for those who have already woven on a rigid heddle loom and want to know more about what it can do.
