Chaotic Sky Handwoven Cowl
A chaotic sky is when there are a variety of clouds in the sky at once. This is usually ahead of a weather front coming in and always creates amazing texture and colour in the sky.
Such a view as this occurred in November 2018 whilst we were walking the Weftwoofs at Portencross beach. The random patterns of the clouds against linear clouds has become the inspiration for this cowl handwoven by Ange at Weft Blown.
Using a hand dyed yarn by The Knitting Goddess Ange has captured the shifting colours of the clouds move along the length of this cowl.
The yarn used contains 60% Bluefaced Leicester wool, 20% mulberry silk and 20% baby alpaca.
This cowl is handwoven in one circular piece so is designed to stay on you and keep you cosy whatever the weather.
Dimensions: 9"/23cm wide by 35"/90cm diameter.
Care: Handwash only. Iron whilst damp.
